The respirology consultations are provided by Dr. Olga Tourin
Dr. Olga Tourin is committed to educating and helping patients live with respiratory / pulmonology issues, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to live a higher quality of life.
Originally from Belarus, Dr. Tourin earned her MD there in 1993, allowing her to practice Internal Medicine, focusing on Pulmonology. As a Pulmonologist in both Belarus and Russia, Dr. Tourin practiced medicine, while participating in clinical research focused on asthma, and educating patients on the nature of their disease, measures of control, and secondary prevention.
In 2001, Dr. Tourin moved to Canada, initially working as a Physician Associate on Pulmonary Services at the Foothills Hospital. During this time, she completed her Residency Training in Internal Medicine in 2010, and in Respirology in 2012, both through the University of Calgary. Additionally, in 2010, Dr. Tourin became an American Board of Internal Medicine Diplomate in Internal Medicine.To support her Residency training and her practice, Dr. Tourin continues to attend courses, workshops, and conferences in her specialty, including sleep medicine and interstitial lung diseases, as well as documenting her research in publications. In addition, Dr. Tourin actively participates in a number of professional associations, including:
